What are the best types of body wrap masque to use for inch loss?
Body wraps do not shrink fat cells or burn body fat - no matter what type of wrap: bandages soaked in herbs or minerals, plastic, foil, vinyl, seaweed, clay, mud - it doesn't matter, body wraps don't burn fat. Those "sauna wraps" or rubber "wraps" that go around your waist? They can't "burn" an ounce of fat either. Fat can only be lost with a caloric deficit from a reduction in food intake, an increase in activity or ideally, a combination of both. The weight loss you might see is very temporary water weight loss. Remember, "inch loss" means all over you body not just your problem areas. So if some place promises "lose up to 4 inches in just one treatment" that could mean a 16th inch from hips, 16th from arms, 16th from hips, 16th from buttox ect...depending on how many measurements they take. Not enought to really see results but still the numbers add up to 4 inches. Think of your skin like a sponge. The wrap simply squeezes out the water from the subcutaneous skin layer. The moment you re introduce water back into your system the skin soaks it right up and you're back at square one. At $100 to $150 dollars a hit, it can add up pretty quickly.
