What is the traditional New Year's Day dinner for North America?
I know they have black-eyed peas in the south, but I'm in Ohio. Is the traditional dinner pork and sauerkraut? What else? Like for side dishes and desserts? Thanks in advance for all your answers!

North America is a very diverse area in many ways, including food.
I live and work in America, but even American food varies from region to region. So what may be traditional food on the west coast may be very different in the east or north or south.
